- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the Chicken:
- Pat the chicken dry with a paper towel.
- Season both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Sear the Chicken:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes on one side until golden brown.
- Flip and cook for another 5-6 minutes until fully cooked (internal temp 165°F/75°C).
Make the Butter Sauce:
- Mix softened butter with honey in a small bowl.
- Reduce heat to low, add the butter-honey mixture to the skillet, and spoon over the chicken for 1-2 minutes.
Serve:
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
