Description

Delicious and easy Sweet Hawaiian Crockpot Chicken made with tender chicken, juicy pineapple, and a flavorful sweet and savory sauce.

  • 2 lb chicken chunks (white or dark meat, or both)
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • ⅓ cup soy sauce
  • 1 medium can pineapple chunks (optional)
  • 1 small onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 green pepper, cut into chunks (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add the chicken chunks to the slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix pineapple juice, brown sugar, and soy sauce until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. If using, add the pineapple chunks, chopped onion, and green pepper on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours, or until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
  6. Serve warm over rice or noodles, garnished with additional pineapple or fresh herbs if desired.
