- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 cups self-rising flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
Prepare the Batter:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine sugars, eggs, and oil. Mix until smooth.
- Gradually add flour, stirring until just combined.
- Stir in vanilla and fold in chopped pecans.
Bake the Bread:
- Pour batter into the baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Cool & Serve:
- Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes.
- Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.
