  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth or white wine
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Season the Chicken: Sprinkle both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika (if using).
  • Cook the Chicken: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  • Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: Melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Deglaze the Pan: Pour in the chicken broth or white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan for extra flavor. Stir in the Italian seasoning.
  • Combine and Serve: Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the garlic butter sauce over the top, and cook for an additional 2–3 minutes to warm through.
  • Garnish and Enjoy: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
