This Souper Rice is a rich, buttery, and flavorful baked rice dish made with just five ingredients. A perfect creamy side dish for any meal!

- 1 cup uncooked long-grain white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed French onion soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed beef consommé
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×9-inch or similar-sized baking dish.
- In the baking dish, combine the uncooked rice, French onion soup, and beef consommé. Stir to mix well.
- Pour the melted butter over the top and sprinkle with black pepper.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and has absorbed the liquid.
- Fluff the rice with a fork before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
- For extra flavor, stir in sautéed mushrooms or diced onions before baking.
- Substitute vegetable broth for beef consommé to make it vegetarian.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the microwave.
