- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground sausage until fully browned, breaking it into small pieces. Drain any excess grease and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage and softened cream cheese until smooth and well blended. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese if desired.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into individual triangles.
- Place a generous tablespoon of the sausage and cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle. Roll up the dough tightly, starting at the wide end, and place the crescents on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 11-13 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Serve warm and enjoy!
