Description

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted (for topping)
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough and divide into 1-inch balls.
- Mix minced garlic, chopped parsley, and melted butter. Toss dough pieces in the mixture.
- Arrange coated dough pieces in a greased 9-inch bundt pan or baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top (if using).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm!
Notes
- For extra cheesiness, mix shredded mozzarella with the dough balls before baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat before serving.
