For the Breadsticks:
- 1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder (optional)
- Salt, to taste
For the Filling:
- 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup thinly sliced cooked beef or steak tips
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
For Serving:
- Marinara sauce or queso cheese dip
Instructions
Preheat & Prepare:
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
Roll Out the Dough:
- Lightly flour a surface and roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle.
Prepare the Garlic Oil:
- Mix olive oil and minced garlic in a bowl. Brush evenly over the dough.
Layer the Fillings:
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan and half of the shredded provolone (or mozzarella) over the dough.
- Evenly spread the thinly sliced beef on top.
- Season with garlic powder, oregano, and salt.
Fold & Cut the Dough:
- Fold the dough over the filling and press down gently to seal.
- Using a pizza cutter, slice into strips.
Twist & Arrange:
- Twist each strip into a spiral and place on the baking sheet.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and a dash of chili powder (if using).
Bake:
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
Serve:
- Enjoy warm with marinara sauce or queso dip.
