Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 slices provolone cheese, halved

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
  • Add bell pepper and onion, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until softened. Remove from heat.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  • Place half a slice of provolone on each triangle, then spoon beef mixture on top.
  • Roll up from the wide end and place on the baking sheet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • Substitute provolone with mozzarella or cheddar for a different twist.
  • Add mushrooms for extra flavor.
