Description
A tasty twist on Philly cheesesteak—flaky crescent rolls stuffed with beef, cheese, peppers, and onions. Perfect for snacks, apps, or dinner!

- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced beef steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 cup green bell pepper, sliced
- 1/2 cup onion, sliced
- 1 tube (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 4 slices provolone cheese, halved
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Add bell pepper and onion, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until softened. Remove from heat.
- Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
- Place half a slice of provolone on each triangle, then spoon beef mixture on top.
- Roll up from the wide end and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Substitute provolone with mozzarella or cheddar for a different twist.
- Add mushrooms for extra flavor.
- Serve with a side of au jus or cheese sauce for dipping.
