  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh peaches, peeled and diced
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Mix until smooth.
  • Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Stir until just combined.
  • Gently fold in diced peaches and chopped pecans.
  • Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
