Description

This one-pot creamy beef and garlic butter pasta is a rich and comforting dish with tender pasta, a luscious garlic butter sauce, and savory ground beef—all made in a single pot!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb (450g) ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cups (480ml) beef broth
  • 1 cup (240ml) heavy cream
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta shells or your choice of pasta
  • 1/2 cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Cook the Ground Beef:

    • In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
  • Sauté Aromatics:

    • Add butter to the beef. Once melted, sauté onion until translucent (about 3 minutes).
    • Stir in garlic and cook for 1 more minute until fragrant.
  • Add Liquids and Pasta:

    • Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring well.
    • Add pasta and submerge it in the liquid.
    • Season with salt and black pepper.
  • Cook the Pasta:

    • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
  • Finish the Dish:

    • Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese, and mix until creamy.
    • Adjust seasoning as needed.
  • Serve:

    • Garnish with fresh parsley.
    • Serve hot with garlic bread or a side salad.

Notes

For extra flavor, add red pepper flakes or substitute half-and-half for a lighter version
