No Yeast Dinner Rolls

  • Author: Chef Clara
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 10-12 rolls 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (plus extra for brushing)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  • Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Add the milk and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Stir until a soft dough forms. Be careful not to overmix to keep the rolls tender.
  • Shape the Dough
Divide the dough into 10-12 equal portions using your hands or a cookie scoop. Roll each portion into a ball and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  • Brush with Butter
Brush the tops of the rolls with melted butter for a golden, glossy finish.
  • Bake
Bake the rolls for 18-20 minutes, or until the tops are lightly golden and cooked through.
  • Final Touch
Remove from the oven and brush with more melted butter, if desired. Serve warm.
