Description

Cinnamon sugar-coated French toast bites—crisp outside, fluffy inside, perfect for brunch, dipping in syrup, or fun finger-food breakfasts.


Ingredients

    • 4 thick slices white bread, crusts removed and cut into cubes

    • 2 large eggs

    • 1/4 cup milk

    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    • 1 tablespoon sugar (for egg mixture)

    • 2 tablespoons butter, for frying

    Cinnamon Sugar Coating:

    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    Optional for serving:

    • Maple syrup

    • Whipped cream or yogurt


Instructions

  • Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and 1 tablespoon sugar in a medium bowl.

  • Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small separate bowl.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat.

  • Dip bread cubes in egg mixture; let excess drip off.

  • Cook in batches for 3–4 minutes, turning until golden. Add more butter as needed.

  • Roll warm cubes in cinnamon sugar to coat.

 

  • Serve with maple syrup, whipped cream, or yogurt if desired.

Notes

  • Brioche or challah works great for richer flavor.

  • Serve in a bowl with dipping sauce for parties or brunch platters.
