Description

1 lb (450g) sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons unsalted butter2 cloves garlic, minced

For the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)


Instructions

Prepare the Steak Bites:

Pat the steak pieces dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Add the seasoned steak bites to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan.

Sear the steak pieces for 1–2 minutes on each side until they develop a golden-brown crust and reach the desired level of doneness.

Remove the steak bites from the skillet and set them aside on a plate.

Prepare the Parmesan Cream Sauce:

In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine with the garlic and butter.

Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then add the freshly grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.

Continue to simmer the sauce for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency.

Season the sauce with salt, freshly ground black pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes if you prefer a hint of heat.

Combine and Serve:

Return the seared steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the Parmesan cream sauce to ensure they are thoroughly coated.

Allow the steak bites to warm through in the sauce for about 1–2 minutes.
