Description

Garlic Butter Creamed Spinach Salmon—seared salmon fillets smothered in a rich, creamy garlic butter spinach sauce. A quick, elegant, and flavorful meal!


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cups fresh spinach
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season salmon with salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.
  • Sear salmon for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add cherry tomatoes, cooking for 2 minutes until softened.
  • Stir in spinach and cook until wilted (1-2 minutes).
  • Pour in heavy cream and stir in Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  • Return salmon to skillet, spooning sauce over the fillets. Cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Squeeze lemon juice over the top and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

  • For extra richness, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
  • Add mushrooms for more texture and depth.
  • Serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread.
