Instructions
- Mix the Dry Ingredients:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Make a well in the center and set aside.
- Combine the Wet Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
- Pour wet ingredients into the well of the dry ingredients.
- Prepare the Batter:
- Stir gently until just combined. A few lumps are fine. Rest the batter for 5–10 minutes.
- Cook the Pancakes:
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form and edges set, about 2–3 minutes. Flip and cook 1–2 minutes more.
