Description
Tender crockpot chicken smothered in creamy 3-ingredient gravy—easy comfort food! Perfect over rice, mashed potatoes, or noodles.
Ingredients
3 to 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 (10.5 oz) can unsalted cream of chicken soup
2 (0.87 oz) packets chicken gravy mix
Optional: ½ to 1 cup water or chicken broth (for thinner gravy)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Cooked rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles (for serving)
Instructions
Prepare Chicken:
Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Season lightly with salt and pepper if desired.
Make Gravy Mixture:
In a medium bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup and gravy mix.
Add water or broth if you prefer a thinner consistency and whisk until smooth.
Slow Cook:
Pour the gravy mixture over the chicken.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4–6 hours or until chicken is tender and fully cooked (internal temp 165°F/74°C).
Shred and Serve:
Use two forks to shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker.
Stir well so the shredded chicken is coated in the gravy.
Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, or egg noodles.
Notes
Add a dash of garlic powder, onion powder, or seasoned salt for extra flavor.
You can also use chicken thighs for a richer texture.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
