- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear ribs for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- Transfer ribs to the crock pot.
- In a bowl, mix barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, and seasonings.
- Pour sauce over ribs, coating them evenly.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until tender.
- Serve with extra BBQ sauce and sides like mashed potatoes or coleslaw.
