- 12 oz rotini or bowtie pasta
- 1½ cups cooked chicken breast, diced
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup diced red onion
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and rinse under cold water to cool. Set aside.
- Prepare the Dressing
- In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Assemble the Salad
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, diced chicken, crumbled bacon, cherry tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and diced red onion.
- Pour the dressing over the salad ingredients.
- Gently toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Chill and Serve
- Cover the salad and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve chilled. Enjoy!
