Description
Delicious cinnamon-sugar pizza made with flaky crescent roll dough, topped with a sweet glaze and sugar, baked to golden perfection.
Ingredients
Scale
For the Pizza Base:
- 1 (8 oz) tube crescent roll dough
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
For the Topping:
- ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar (optional, for extra depth)
For the Glaze:
- ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a pizza pan or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough onto the prepared pan. Press the seams together to create one large sheet of dough.
- Brush the melted butter evenly over the dough.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar, cinnamon, and brown sugar (if using). Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10–12 minutes, or until the crescent roll base is golden brown and the cinnamon-sugar topping is bubbling slightly.
- While the pizza bakes, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth. Adjust the milk for desired consistency.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Drizzle the glaze over the top using a spoon or piping bag.
- Slice into wedges or squares and serve warm.
Notes
- Prebake the crust for 5 minutes to keep it crisp.
- Use a pastry brush for even cinnamon-sugar distribution.
- Don’t overbake – Watch closely to prevent burning the sugar.
