Ingredients

- 1 cinnamon stick (or ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon honey (raw or organic preferred)
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 slice fresh ginger (optional, for added relief)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil.
- Add the cinnamon stick (or ground cinnamon) and ginger slice if using.
- Reduce heat and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
- Remove from heat and strain the tea into a cup to remove the cinnamon stick and ginger.
- Stir in the honey and fresh lemon juice until well combined.
- Sip the tea slowly while it’s warm to soothe your sore throat.
