- 1 loaf French bread
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced (vegan option: shredded jackfruit or plant-based chicken)
- 1 cup Alfredo sauce (vegan option: cashew or coconut-based Alfredo sauce)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (vegan option: dairy-free mozzarella like Daiya or Violife)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (vegan option: nutritional yeast or vegan Parmesan)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened (vegan option: plant-based butter like Earth Balance)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice French bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet, cut side up.
- Mix butter with garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper. Spread over bread.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted.
- Heat chicken with Alfredo sauce in a pan until warm. (For vegan: Heat jackfruit or plant-based chicken with vegan Alfredo sauce.)
- Remove bread from oven and evenly spread the Alfredo mixture.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for another 10-12 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden-brown finish.
- Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
