Description

Cheesesteak Garlic Parmesan Bread combines steak, cheese, and crispy garlic bread for the ultimate savory, crowd-pleasing appetizer or main dish.

For the Garlic Parmesan Bread:

  • 1 loaf Italian or French bread

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Cheesesteak Topping:

  • 1 pound ribeye steak, thinly sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced (optional)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 68 slices provolone or mozzarella cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice bread lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.

  2. Mix butter, garlic, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Spread over bread halves.

  3. Bake for 10 minutes until golden.

  4. Sauté onions and optional peppers in olive oil until caramelized. Set aside.

  5. Cook steak in the same skillet with salt and pepper until browned. Combine with veggies.

  6. Layer steak mixture over toasted bread. Top with cheese slices.

  7. Bake for 5–7 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles.

  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

    • Use shaved steak for quicker cooking.
  • Add mushrooms for extra umami.
