Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  • Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes. Peel and set aside.
  • In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
  • Stir in red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, and paprika.
  • Add the peeled eggs, tossing to coat in the buttery garlic sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro.
  • Serve warm with toast, rice, or as a side dish.

Notes

  • Adjust spice levels by increasing or omitting red pepper flakes.
  • Use ghee instead of butter for a richer flavor.
