- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley or cilantro
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add eggs and cook for 7-8 minutes for soft-boiled or 10-12 minutes for hard-boiled.
- Transfer eggs to an ice bath for 5 minutes. Peel and set aside.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (1-2 minutes).
- Stir in red pepper flakes, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, and paprika.
- Add the peeled eggs, tossing to coat in the buttery garlic sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, drizzle with lemon juice, and garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro.
- Serve warm with toast, rice, or as a side dish.
