For the Cobbler Base:

- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, mix mashed bananas, sugars, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, milk, and melted butter. Pour into the baking dish.
- In another bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Stir in milk, melted butter, and honey (or maple syrup) until smooth.
- Pour batter over the banana mixture without stirring.
- Combine pecans, brown sugar, and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbling.
- Let cool slightly before serving warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
Notes
- Best served warm.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
